First Swim London make a splash in Chiswick
London Place is delighted to announce a new partnership with First Swim London, which has signed a 20-year lease on the final commercial unit at 500 Chiswick High Road.
First Swim is a dedicated baby swimming facility, currently based in Twickenham, offering swimming lessons for babies and young children from 6 weeks to 4 years old. They have courses for all levels and capabilities, taught by qualified teachers in a custom made, hygienic and fully heated pool. First Swim also has an on-site coffee shop and lounge area, offering quality drinks and snacks in relaxing and sociable environment for parents and children alike.
The fit out in Chiswick is now underway, including the installation of a bespoke swimming pool structure, with First Swim aiming to open their doors later this summer. Find out more about First Swim online at firstswimlondon.co.uk.
London Place to deliver new Day Nursery in Greenwich
London Place is expanding its network of Day Nursery partners, with a new site set to open in Greenwich.
New tenants, Twinnie Day Nursery Ltd, are set to move into the property in February with an opening scheduled for later in the spring. Twinnie are expanding their operations from their existing flourishing site in Belvedere, Kent. The property is situated within Fairview’s Maritime residential development on Greenwich High Road, consisting 81 apartments with views of Deptford Creek and central London beyond.
Speaking at a recent media event, London Place Acquisitions Manager, Jack Davey, admitted his excitement about this latest project: “this is a fantastic purpose built property with all the right ingredients for a successful day nursery, and we’re really looking forward to delivering this in partnership with the team at Twinnie”
NEW BOUTIQUE GYM POWERING INTO BARNES
London Place is excited to announce the forthcoming delivery of a new PowerWave fitness studio at its site on White Hart Lane, Barnes.
Located within the new mixed-use Brookfield Mews scheme, PowerWave will occupy a 1,284sq.ft. unit over ground and basement, which is being fitted with a bespoke finish to meet the needs of the boutique studio. PowerWave will be opening at its first London site, expanding from existing Hubs in Bromley, Bexleyheath and Gravesend. The PowerWave concept combines its unique, patented training device with 20-minute HIIT class proven to increase metabolism, strength and endurance.
Brookfield Mews is due for completion in early 2020, with further news of other occupiers at the site soon to be released.
DAY NURSERY LAUNCHES IN ACTON
London Place is launching a new day nursery in Acton Gardens.
Located within the flagship new development of 3,500 new homes, which is a joint venture between Countryside LLP and L&Q, the property occupies a prominent position adjacent to South Acton Overground station.
The property will be occupied by VD Nursery Group, who are expanding their Little Inventors Montessori Nursery (littleinventorsmontessori.co.uk) brand from their existing four high-performing west London sites. London Place Acquisitions Manager Jack Davey hopes this will be the start of a new partnership with VD: “this is really exciting for both parties and we believe we’ve delivered a top class space for the VD team to move into”.
VD hope to launch their new site early in 2020.
LONDON PLACE PARTNERS WITH FINEST DENTIST IN HAMMERSMITH
London Place has completed its acquisition of two new commercial spaces at Sovereign Court, Hammersmith.
The first unit will be occupied by Finest Dental, who have agreed a 20-year lease and are soon to begin fitting out the space with a targeted opening of Q1 202. Finest Dental are a specialist cosmetic dental surgery operating in 9 other sites across the UK, backed up by an in-house laboratory and customer service centre.
Located just minutes from the thriving centre of Hammersmith, Sovereign Court is a high quality mixed use development built by St George Plc. London Place will be purchasing the entire commercial element of the scheme, and are set to release Unit 2 later in 2020.
ALL SMILES AT LONDON PLACE AS BANNING DENTAL SIGN UP AGAIN
London Place is continuing its partnership with the expanding Banning Dental Group, who have signed a new 15 year lease on Unit 2 at 500 Chiswick High Road, Redrow’s prestigious new development which is now completed.
Banning have previously signed at London Place’s site at Baltic Avenue, Brentford, and with this location now fully operational both parties were delighted to continue working together. Similarly to Brentford, Banning are creating state of the art spaces which set a new standard for dentistry and will feel more luxury showroom than dentist waiting room.
Banning Dental Group is a privately-owned consortium which currently comprises 8 staff and 3 highly qualified dentists. They have ambitious plans to grow throughout the Greater London region, setting up state-of-the-art practices to provide advanced dental services for local communities. Chiswick will be the fourth Banning dentist to open, with more expected this year and London Place looks forward to a continuing partnership with Banning.
